The honest answer is "it depends"

The idea

Most events for creators feel like a pitch deck. Big stage, big lights, big claims about what works — and then you go home and realize none of it applies to your show, your newsletter, your channel.

Well, It Depends is a different kind of room. It's small. It's specific. It's for people who actually make things, and who know that the real answer to "should I start a Patreon?" or "is this a good thumbnail?" is almost always — well, it depends.

What does it depend on?

Your audience. Your medium. Your bandwidth. Your weird taste. The week you're having. That's what we want to talk about — the texture under the tactics.

We run four kinds of events: podcasts, video, newsletters, and cross-medium networking. Some IRL, some online. All on the smaller side, on purpose.

Hi — I'm Arielle. I've been in podcasting for a decade and I kept noticing the same thing: the most useful conversation always happens after the panel ends, in the hallway, with three people. I started Well, It Depends to make that the whole event.
